This is my first attempt at stop-frame animation. I thought that it would be fun to produce a short animation for use on a mobile device. This is was made in Fash by moving each vector shape a small bit each frame giving the illusion of movement. It is always good now and again to create things with old school methods. I hope to build a new concept website soon with these types of animations. Thanks to mudbubble.com for producing the tutorial for this creation. As my old site is looking very dated and (I can accept!?!) very much a concept space, I decided for the new year to create a new look, which is more traditional and static based. As you have already found out that this site includes areas of flash animation in the form of banners and components. I plan to add many more games, websites, animations, etc as I create them. Please send your comments on what you think.

I was asked to create this website for rented apartments in the Spainish resort of La Manga Club. The brief for this project was to create an animated website and static site which could be updated by an online CMS system. The style was decided by the client to be simple, novel, and different. So Using a mixture of Flash, 3D , and clever menus, a 'something new' website was born. The website includes picture gallery, booking forms, a tour, and information about the location. Also I made a mark of rebranding all of the webspaces with a supply of images ready for use in other media advertising.

This creation was done as part of my university degree course. The idea was to create a stand alone 3d application using Adobe Director. What I came up with was a Virtual construction application that could be used to track progress of a construction using the 3D CAD drawing of the finished buliding. Using XML combined with a Director interface the application allows users to update real-time pictures and notes. The application was a success, and a online showcase was created for presentation, although some of the functionality of the application is lost in the online platform.

Grand Designs

The orginal version of this site. Made as a pure flash concept site, I combined areas of 3d with flash to make a virtual office space with the main interface styled as a desktop computer. Also other areas were controlled by different objects on the screen, like sound by Ipod and video from a handycam. The interface is a little investigative but still worked well as a concept site.

Original Site

This gallery was created as photography veiwing portal. The animated gallery functions by a scrolling film strip with each photo selectable by number , with a large picture opened in the main viewer when a thumbnail is selected. I have used this gallery for many different applications, as it is run with XML making it easy to update and quick to load images.

As part of a university project I was given a brief to create a web game based on The Eden Project new Waste Neutral project. The games were a sucess with credit given to a idea to rebrand the microsite holding the game. The project was great experience for me allowing me to work with real clients and producing quality work that was up to commercial standard.
